Songwriter’s Workshops – England
Heidi runs songwriting workshops, taking place at locations around the country. The evening and one-day intensive courses cover essential lyric writing techniques, chord progressions, song structures and various other themes. They also provide a forum in which new songwriters can present their work, get constructive feedback and make contact with other songwriters.

SONGWRITING COURSE - HEIDI BERRY/PATRICK FITZGERALD
Last May, Arvon invited Heidi to their Lumb Bank centre to run a week-long course with singer-songwriter Astrid Williamson. The feedback from students was that they had a ball, made some good friends and got a bunch of great songs out of the experience. They even made a CD!
This year, they've asked her back to run a course at the Totleigh Barton centre, a beautiful converted farmhouse in the Devon countryside. Her co-tutor will be ex-Kitchens Of Distinction frontman Patrick Fitzgerald.
She has invited as her mid-week guest, the wonderful David McAlmont (the soulful voice of McAlmont and Butler). All three have different approaches to songwriting and performing, which should give the course a broad appeal.
